KD over at KINK3D reached out to share some exciting news. They are expanding their line of high quality 3D printed chastity adornments to include a new cock ring - and asked if I would like a review sample to share thoughts and opinions. Of course, I’m always excited to try something new, so quickly jumped at the opportunity! When the ring arrived, I immediately put it on and wore it for two days straight to get a clear feeling for fit and performance.
Having signed up for the hard man outfitters newsletter/insider club, I received an e-blast about some upcoming new products. One of them was a new ring called a split dome (or something similar). I had seen this kind of ring before, but forgot all about them until the newsletter popped in. It got me thinking about the style again. Being oddly shaped compared to the other adornments in my collection, I was wondering if I would even like the fit at all when a thought occurred to me: The design is simple enough that I could model and print one to find out!
After finding Josielynn’s shop on Shapeways, I decided to commission the creation of a custom cage based on existing designs. Primary design goals were focused on comfort, so the shaft was intentionally made a little larger and the length would permit a bit of engorgement without feeling like a python was constricting my erection when it happens. This is a cage that should be reasonable for around town use without drawing attention.
As a maker and owner if a 3D Printer, I had the idea to browse the web for ring models that could be scaled to adornment size. I was relatively successful in finding this particular model. After a quick bit of calculation and sizing, the perfect scaling parameters were available and the custom shaft ring ready to print. I think the results turned out quite nice and this shade of silver provides a handsome accent at the base of a hard on.
This unique adornment is 3D printed from a wood material and finished with a body safe sealant. The design is striking with twisting spokes along the circumference and the curious material to 3d print makes it an obvious buy. The ring is comfortable to wear despite the spokes which would make one think they pinch and the darker color of the wood is very handsome.
After finding Josielynn’s shop on Shapeways and trying out a slightly custom design, I was so pleased that I had to try out a fully customized design. Like my favorite Chaste Bird Cage, this design allows for a nearly full erection, but still tightly trapped penis. The design features cage bars that run the length of the shaft with additional bars along the glans and “no touch” panels at the top and bottom.
As a crafty individual, I’m able to bring my hobbies to bear while customizing or creating entirely new adornments. In this case, I spent an afternoon modelling the ideal shaft ring and parameterizing the model (OpenSCAD) to support customization and adjustments. After a few prototypes, the perfect shaft ring was born precisely to the dimensions and style I wanted. The design of this adornment features a slightly flared base and gently radiused inner profile for supreme comfort.
As a crafty individual, I’m able to bring my hobbies to bear while customizing or creating entirely new adornments. In this case, I spent an afternoon modelling the ideal Kali’s Teeth glans/shaft ring and parameterizing the model (OpenSCAD) to support customization and adjustments. After a few prototypes, the perfect model was born allowing for choosing the diameter, spike height, spike size, and number of spike rows. Most interestingly, I was able to create this model and try a set of Kali’s Teeth for pennies before committing funds for something I may not enjoy.

After a few prototypes, the perfect Saturn ring was born precisely to the dimensions and style I wanted. The design of this adornment features two rings - one with a diameter ideal for cock and the other for the shaft.
