Glass Vibrations Faceted Glass Cock Ring

I’ve had some good luck on Etsy lately discovering interesting finds. As a sucker for alternative materials to your boring nickel-plated steel ring, this Glass Vibrations ring stood out immediately thanks to the faceted cut on the outside and the charming black glass material.

It took me a while to commit to purchasing this ring, though - the cost of the ring is spot-on and worth every dime… but the cost to ship from Saarbrücken, Germany to the Midwest US was almost twice the cost of the unit. I confirmed that wasn’t a listing error with Giovannina via Etsy messenger. In retrospect, given that Glass Vibrations deals primarily in glass units, shipping and packaging must be done carefully to avoid a broken piece from showing up.

I discovered Himeros through Etsy and quickly contacted Andrew to say hello (and inquire about some custom options - he can do that, too!). He got back to me quickly and through conversation it is clear that he is passionate about what he’s doing as he builds his business. Based out of Europe, Himeros offers ultra premium cock rings. As far as I know right now, the only manufacturers offering tungsten carbide rings are Scott at King Rings and Andrew at Himeros… so we’re working with prime stock to begin with.

Magicare Mamba Zero Cage Ring

This comfortable chastity “trainer” is available from AliExpress from the Magicare brand. The adornment, like similar “trainers” from Chaste Bird, features a collection of firm plastic base cock rings and an oval shaped shaft ring. The shaft ring is about 1.25" x 1.45" which lands at a nearly perfect shaft ring size of 1.35" for me (my preference is 1.375).

What is different from my other “trainer” cage rings is how this one attaches the base and shaft rings. The attachment, being plastic, if more than the tired “pin and mating hole” design most steel cages use which leads to lots of pinches and sometimes rattling. Instead, it uses a formed mating surface which avoids rattling when mated and encourages far less pinching.

The cock ring on this device is perfectly sized, and the shaft ring matches at 1.35 inches. Unlike my other “trainer” cages, this one has a shaft cage that runs 1.75" long. With a shaft ring that long, practically ANY size will be comfortable.

Josielynns Body Jewelry Cherry Keeper Custom Cage Design

After finding Josielynn’s shop on Shapeways, I decided to commission the creation of a custom cage based on existing designs. Primary design goals were focused on comfort, so the shaft was intentionally made a little larger and the length would permit a bit of engorgement without feeling like a python was constricting my erection when it happens. This is a cage that should be reasonable for around town use without drawing attention.

Curved Band

Those that have collected cages a while probably noticed that some of the base rings are boxy but curved… and then had the same question I did: Why don’t they just make regular rings that way? Well, sure enough, they finally hit the market.

This adornment features the same curve as my favorite wire cock ring but built upon a foundation of a wider style band. This gives it the boxy appearance and also adds to the comfort that the ring provides. It is finished in a polished coating for that little bit more bling.

Ballistic Metal Raptor

Another great design by Ballistic Metal. The Raptor features a gear-like design along the outside of its brushed stainless finish. As is common with other Ballistic Metal designs, this adornment is on the larger size in height and width which helps with comfort.

The machining on the ring is excellent, as is par for the course, but the inner profile is not as radiused as I would typically ask for… though it is well rounded to ensure comfort. The outer edges are also rounded to minimize pinches and trouble while wearing tight or stiff pants.

Schmuckcockring Priapus Shield

Schmuckcockring makes some really cool custom cock shields. These adornments, of course, surround your cock like any other ring would, but also extends above and below. This adds lots of visual interest by really drawing attention to your member but also serves the added benefit of reducing pinching of no mans land while seated.

This sample form Schmuckcockring is an excellent example of the craftsmanship that goes into the rings. I am not sure what it takes to make a stainless ring, but this one shows no casting marks, manufacturing abrasions, or waviness along the body and ring.

This unique adornment is 3D printed from a wood material and finished with a body safe sealant. The design is striking with twisting spokes along the circumference and the curious material to 3d print makes it an obvious buy.

The ring is comfortable to wear despite the spokes which would make one think they pinch and the darker color of the wood is very handsome.
