ManAdorned Stainless Hex Skeleton Cock Ring

Every now and again, a new design strikes my fancy and I decide that I’ve just GOT to make it. I had the idea of creating a skeletonized adornment featuring a hex pattern, knowing that it may not be very feasible to manufacture. But, fortune favors the bold so I decided to give this one a go! The design is a “hollowed out” cock ring with hex holes running through the full height of the ring. I was able to 3D print a few prototypes with success and, working with the CNC machining company, learned that the cost to machine such a complex design would be absolutely cost prohibitive. Instead, my contact at RapidDirect suggested that metal 3D printing would be the best technique in terms of materials and cost. Sure enough, the design came out fantastic!

ManAdorned Stainless Rivet Cock Ring

I’m finally getting around to writing about the custom rin I blogged about creating. I call this one the “rivet” design. Like most of my custom made rings, it features a design that just kind of came to me.

This particular design features the typical smoothly radiused inner profile but differs from others in that it has a raised “band” around the outside of the ring with spheres embedded within to give it a riveted-on look. I can’t quite describe the exact look I was going for, but something along the lines of an industrial shaft collar bolted into place. Of course, bolts (the hex heads) wouldn’t exactly be comfortable so I went with a rivet look. Especially interesting about this ring is the fact that it is my first mirror polished stainless ring from the folks over at RapidDirect. This is a new finish type instead of the Ra 0.4 finish I’ve done in the past. The polished finish looks striking and masculine - and I only wish I had the ability to leave the raised “collar” brushed finish to further accentuate the polish. Maybe I’ll go at it with some coarse grit sandpaper sometime and see how it turns out?

King Rings Father of Pearl Midnight Glans Ring

I mentioned in my FOP cock ring review that I stumbled across a matching cock and glans set in the King Rings secondhand products page - and wouldn’t you know it? They were just my size. Although I now own 9 King Rings cock adornments, this is my first glans ring from Scott. How does it stack up?

I shouldn’t have to say that the design and finish of ANY King Rings product is top quality as that is just what has come to be expected at the price point and from a well-established brand in the industry. The glans rings are no exception to this rule with this sample sporting a handsome piano black plating under a crystal smooth finish. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I think the finish of the glans ring may differ in some way to those of the cock rings - it just looks… different. It seems to pick up finger prints more? Or perhaps that is just a side effect of my cock rings being flat while the glans rings feature a radiused outer profile? In any event, the finish is on par with what you would expect from King Rings.

Custom Sapele Wood Wavy Cock Ring

What do you do when you trawl about the Internet looking to add to your collection and fail to find anything new that especially grabs your attention? Why… have a custom adornment made! The inspiration hit me while I was wandering the random cock rings on Etsy. Funny enough, Etsy doesn’t care to comprehend the difference between a penis ring and a finger ring, often sprinkling in sponsored advertisements and “you might like” links within the search results for a cock ring. In this case, I saw a finger ring style that I had never seen before. While most purveyors of tungsten carbide rings cannot customize their offerings, I’ve had great luck with sellers on Etsy who make wooden rings being willing to make a custom piece for a bit of a larger part of the body. So, with that, I reached out to the seller and Maksym helped make it happen.

Stainless Welded Double Glans Ring

A glans ring is always a delight to have, so I own several as any collector of adornments would. But despite the number of pieces in my collection collection and despite thinking I’ve “seen it all”, every now and again a new design comes along that offers a nice surprise. That’s exactly what I found in this devilishly simple twist on a classic wire glans ring. By simply welding a second glans ring roughly at the same angle of the corona, the designers of this cheap generic ring brought something new to the table. It’s kind of one of those, “Why didn’t anyone think of this before?

Manadorned Full Crystal Pave

Yes, I’m always looking for something new to add to the collection - and given that I’ve learned how to make my own adornments from interesting materials like aluminum, it was only a matter of time before I stumbled on a new great idea. I don’t know what took so long for this design, but it finally dawned on me one day that I’ve always been a fan of mixed material adornments (such as wood/metal, aluminum/rubber, etc) and it really wouldn’t be all that hard to design a mixed material ring of my own! I have a few adornments with gems on them, but I thought it would be super interesting to revisit the ill-fated crystal pave experiment from a long while back. Surely I could make my own ring that was dashing and comfortable!

ManAdorned Smooth Aluminum

I couldn’t just make ONE new design while the creative juices were flowing, could I? Of course not! Joining the knurled aluminum design is this new sleek, smooth, and crisp cock ring. Most of my designs have an inset field with a pattern inside but I decided to go a different direction on this one after having such great feedback from the pillowed segments design.

While I love the weight of a stainless ring, this one called for a bright polish that is best achieved with aluminum to really make the design as dapper and sharp as possible. Although stainless polishes well, it’s a naturally darker metal than aluminum. For an adornment that is intended to look elegant under a pair of dress slacks, only the brighter aluminum would do. It came out great, of course, but I do have the worry that the smooth aluminum finish will accept scratches and nicks a little too easily.

ManAdorned Knurled Aluminum

Well it’s been a while since I decided to design my own adornment again… and this fine example is quite a wonderful outcome! Given that I have been successful producing geometric designs with various inlays/patterns, a question dawned on me. Why in the world don’t I have a cock ring that has a classic knurled finish to it?!? Now I do! I figured the design would come out well given that several others have been cool, but I’m actually quite surprised by how handsome this one turned out!

Kink3D 3D Printed Countour Ring

KD over at KINK3D reached out to share some exciting news. They are expanding their line of high quality 3D printed chastity adornments to include a new cock ring - and asked if I would like a review sample to share thoughts and opinions. Of course, I’m always excited to try something new, so quickly jumped at the opportunity! When the ring arrived, I immediately put it on and wore it for two days straight to get a clear feeling for fit and performance. Call me a fan!

Hard Man Outfitters Dome Splitter

Remember when I mentioned that I saw a split domed ring from Hard Man Outfitters in their newsletter… but couldn’t find it? Well… I found it! I’m not sure what is up with HMO’s website and their search results, but finding products from search engines on their site is always hit or miss!

I would recommend reading the previous review for impressions of this style of adornment. Cliff’s Notes: I’m a fan! I love how they look and how they wear. They’re also subtly shaped in a way that you could go stealth mode and wear them all day long. For this particular specimen, it differs from the 3d printed model I created in two key ways: it’s polished (gorgeous) and the wire is thinner. The inner diameter is only about .002mm off of the ordered size coming in at 1.755". The steel wire is .230" thick and it all comes together to weigh 1.81oz. Made in stainless, I was curious how the weld attaching the two wires would come out. As can be seen in the picture, there was generous filler material applied to avoid the corners being tight/sharp to pinch our sensitive bits. As usual, this is a thoughtfully designed adornment from HMO! Also, as you can see on their website, ordering in a 40mm size will get you an adornment that works quite well on the scrotum as a ball separator giving a little more visual bling for those that enjoy testicle weights.
