Yet another adornment from Hard Man Outfitters. As a newsletter subscriber, this one popped up as a freebie if you buy enough stuff. I figured… hell… why not? I’ve been meaning to buy some stuff from them anyway! The design of this glans ring is very simple. It’s a band style ring with very slightly rounded edges and a highly polished stainless finish. Knowing the weight being so low (as measured, just under 1oz), I decided it probably wasn’t worth using as a glans ring and instead went with their 35mm option so I could wear it as a shaft ring.
One of the things I love most about adornments, especially Tungsten Carbide is the weight and tug through the course of the day. That subtle pull reminding your manhood all day long that it’s there is something one gets to enjoy as their little secret of what hides beneath those jeans or slacks. As I’ve expanded my collection to include more and more heavier weighted glans rings, I’ve come to enjoy having the weight itself pulling on my member throughout the day.
As I trawl through adornments for sale, I come across interesting ones every now and again. While I have a few things from The Chain Gang, they aren’t exactly a featured group in my collection. Not that there is anything wrong with their products - it’s just that they focus more on piercing materials with adornments as a just-so-happens-to-be-in-our-shop kind of thing. Over time, that has changed as they invent new designs and add more things to their store. Ages ago, I signed up for their newsletter to know about new products and also because their prices are generally more reasonable when they put an item on sale - and lo and behold, what drew my attention but a MONSTROUS urethral sound made of smooth stainless steel!
I am always seeking new ways to grow the collection, and what better way is there than to create yet another custom adornment? Inspired by this really great slash cut glans ring, I thought the design could be improved by enhancing the fit. So how did it turn out? Fantastic, of course! With the opportunity to 3D print multiple attempts in order to finely tune the model, this ring perfectly fits my contours.
Every now and again I make sure to check in to various sources for adornments, and seldom does Etsy disappoint after filtering through the junk. Recently, I discovered Der Stahlmeister (the steel master) and was quickly drawn to their double ring thanks to the fact that it can be customized and is curved for maximum comfort. Having experimented with a home made saturn ring, I was pretty sure I would like the steel version.
I already have a few adornments in my collection from Hard Man Outfitters, so when they released a brand new MONSTROUS ring resembling a piece of Captive Bead Ring body jewelry, my attention was immediately grabbed. Thick, heavy stainless? Polished, handsome finish? Over a pound of metal goodness hanging from your goodness? YES, PLEASE! The package showed up in a small USPS flat rate shipping box and I knew without looking at the label what it was.
In case you can’t tell, I’ve come to enjoy custom designing my own adornments based on whatever design thoughts pop into mind! The design for this one struck me as I noticed our kitchen cabinets. When designing the kitchen a few years back, I recalled a myriad of choices regarding material/shape/cut/style/etc - just for the door frames. I remembered that we fell in love with the “pillowed” effect cabinets in a dark, rich stained color.
As I shared in a prior review, I’ve been smitten by a maker’s most exciting (and dangerous?) thing: new knowledge! Using my newfound knowledge of FreeCAD and where to have a custom ring manufactured, I made another custom creation to match the stainless steel version of my wedding band which itself was inspired by the custom design Andrew at Himeros jewelry created. The design of this ring is identical to the previous stainless steel design but was adjusted to match the proportions of one of the most comfortable adornments in my collection: the Gear Essentials Plunge.
I was so absolutely excited to work with Andrew at Himeros to produce my wedding band in practically indestructible tungsten carbide material that I became inspired. Working with Andrew and exchanging image proofs of the proposed designs via email, I became motivated take my 3D modelling skills to the next level. I’ve been a long time user of simple modeling tools like sketchup and OpenSCAD and even used them to create some adornments (examples: 1, 2, 3… but they have their limitations in terms of complexity and attractiveness.
I make no secret about the fact that I adore combination adornments that feature cock and shaft encirclement. I am also extremely drawn to the black leather strap with a polished stainless ring combination because that was actually the second adornment I ever purchased! My first was a neoprene shaft ring at 1 1/4" which proved to be an intense entrypoint to the art given that it was at least 1/8" too small.

In this case, the “Satin Cock Ring with Double Black Accents” ring comes only in sizes that would work well as shaft or cock ring… but there are plenty of Generic glans rings available featuring a brushed stainless finish with rubber accent ring should you wish to go the full 10 yards!

They have several designs that are available as a cock ring, shaft ring, and a glans ring - for those that like to have a fully decked out member in matching accoutrements. The ‘button strap’ design is one such design. It features a scalloped set of ridges along the outer diameter of the ring finished in a highly polished stainless steel.
My collection already has a number of sounds for fun and experimentation, but when I came across this interesting plug, I had to give it a whirl. Unlike my other tapered sounds, this one is step-wise graduated in .5mm increments and is marked along the shank as the size increases. This allows you know exactly what size works for you as well as to help you push to the point of “cannot take any more”.
Similar to the flat trainer cage already in the collection, this adornment increases the comfort factor by leveraging the ubiquitous curved band design that has made its way into most Chinese adornment inventories. An important difference between this model and the other models in the collection is the fact that the shaft ring is a generous 1 1/2". This is a welcome change from the 1 1/4" shaft of the other model.
Schmuckcockring makes some really cool custom cock shields. These adornments, of course, surround your cock like any other ring would, but also extends above and below. This adds lots of visual interest by really drawing attention to your member but also serves the added benefit of reducing pinching of no mans land while seated. Sergey once again delivers on a beautiful, custom sized stainless ring all the way from Hamburg, Germany.
Another Etsy find from steelcraftsman, this simple glans ring is made from a braided stainless steel twist wire (industrial!) captured with a bead to close off the loop. Beautiful and rugged in its simplicity, this glans ring looks great when paired with other industrial adornments .
Suddenly, this glans ring started appearing in random browsings as I looked for new adornments - so I had to oblige and pick it up. Available from a number of online retailers on AliExpress and Etsy, this stainless steel glans ring is a typical “band” design that has been modified with a slash to follow the contours of the glans better. The design is clever and I’m surprised by how much I appreciated the way the proportions fit the shape of my head so well.
Gear Essentials (RIP) was always a forward thinking design shop. The Hold is an example of their clever design work. Precision cut from stainless steel, this cock/shaft/ball weight/cage traps all your business in its grasp. For my sizing, I went with the 1 7/8" cock ring with the 1 3/8" shaft opening. As a sucker for combination rings and cages, this fit was just what the doctor ordered - which comes as no surprise given the machining excellence of Gear Essentials over the year.
An interesting Etsy find while browsing for… whatever, this weighted ring stuck out quickly. The interesting feature of this weight is the fact that it’s just a 1.25" stainless steel ball. At that size, it would be easy enough to wear all day long and even potentially disguise itself as your glans if detected through your pants. Unfortunately, the pictures on the listing weren’t super clear as to how this works.
A quintessential Gear Essentials release, the strut is a narrower stainless ring than what one would see with the Torque. Because of the narrower profile at only .4", the strut doesn’t have the space for a comfort fit interior - though it’s not strictly necessary at this size. As with all Gear Essentials adornments, this ring is machined to exact tolerances with the caliper confirming that the shop is always exact in their craft.
This wire ring is tapered towards the bottom to promote comfort, and not to be stopped there, it is also curved along the body of the ring to better confirm to the contours of your body. This creates a highly comfortable adornment for all day wearing. I do wonder how close the quality control is. Having purchased the 1.81" option, the average inner diameter is a much-less-constricting 1.97". Perhaps this was a misunderstanding on my part while ordering, but a ring shaped this way would encourage sizing slightly down simply because of the contours that offer more forgiveness that a flat round ring.
This somewhat interesting glans ring features design elements along the whole body that add interest. I’m not sure how to describe be design - somewhere along the lines of Greek Parthenon style. The ring is a little large for an all day glans ring, but it fits well when erect. The design is interesting indeed, though I wonder if it would slide off if donned during insertion activities. That’s probably not something to leave to chance!
