Repurposed

Chandelier Crystal Shaft Ring

Yet another target of opportunity repurpose, this adornment comes courtesy of AliExpress made to serve the purpose of a chandelier crystal. In this case, it also turns out to be a great size for a shaft ring. Who wouldn’t give it a shot for only $3.50 to your door? As a shaft ring, the crystal performs admirably if not uncomfortably. They are clear, but definitely not cut for comfort around your member given the semi-sharp edges and unrounded interior ring.

Retaining Ring Shaft Collars

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Such is life and such is the result of experimentation with industrial components as adornments. While browsing AliExpress for items to repurpose into rings, I came across these shaft collars used to lock movement of rotating assemblies in place on a shaft. A few dollars later, I had about ten collars headed my way. The experiment was hit or miss… with mostly misses. Naturally, these shaft collars were not cut for comfort, so they feature angular and sharp edges.

Black Aluminum Rock Climbing Ring

What do rock climing and cock rings have in common? No idea… but I do know that you can find an aluminum ring made for rock climing that serves as an excellent cock ring. This adornment features a smooth black surface and imitates large wire cock rings with its almost 1/2" thickness… but can be had at a practical steal of only $5 from AliExpress and about a month’s wait for it to arrive.

Cock and Shaft Bracelet

While browsing Ebay for stuff I could repurpose to wrap around ny junk, this attractive bracelet stood out as a likely contender. Made of faux leather and accented with silver jewelry bands, all it took to repurpose was a razor knife, tape measure, gorilla glue, and knowledge if the size I wanted. As I’ve noted in many reviews before, I love cock and shaft combos so this pair of repurposed bracelets created a nicely matching set.

Chevron Glans Ring

Picked up from an Etsy shop, this finger ring was made super sized so I can instead use it as an adornment. I have to say, the way the chevron pattern perfectly lines up with the corona from underneath is gorgeous. The understated width of the ring other than the chevron itself ensures the attention stays on the accent and your rod.

Carbon Fiber Dragon Finger Ring

I’m always on the lookout for alternative adornments to add to my collection. In this case, a US size 16 finger ring doubles as an attractive glans ring! Unfortunately, a ring as thin as this isn’t as attractive as it could be. A typical glans ring had more height and width to show off the design as it augments the corona of your head. This still serves that purpose, but just not as well.

Black Jade Large

As an avid and dedicated collector, I often think of ways to repurpose other products to serve double duty as an adornment. In this case, a jade bangle (larger bracelet) from eBay fit the bill! As an adornment, this one isn’t particularly remarkable other than the unique material. In fact, because it was made as a bracelet, it doesn’t feature a radiused inner edge and the height is fairly low leading to some digging.

Crystal Pave

As an avid and dedicated collector, I often think if ways to repurpose other products to serve double duty as an adornment. In this case, a crystal paved bangle (larger bracelet) from eBay fit the bill! As an adornment, this one is undoubtedly eye catching, but the experiment falls apart once it’s put on. Not only is it missing a radiused inner profile, the inner profile is convex and even sharp.

Stainless Curb Chain

I always love a unique addition to the collection - and one of the best ways to accomplish unique is with a custom job. In this case, the ring was made from the meager beginnings of a stainless steel bracelet from ebay. On disassembling the closure mechanism and removing links until just the right length was measured, this adornment was repurposed into something far more interesting than a bracelet. The ring itself is very interesting in that it moves with you and flexes thanks to the chain link nature of the band.

Custom Dragon Bracelet Ring

As a hobbyist maker and builder, I’m always looking to repurpose or make my iwn custom rings from whatever is available. In this case, a neat looking bracelet from ebay served as the base of the design. The trick was measuring carefully to establish the right circumference for the perfect fit. Once figured up, all it took was cutting the bracelet at the end, drilling the inside of the receiving piece of metal to give a clean place for glue to adhere, and using strong glue (gorilla glue) to secure the shortened bracelet.
