Button Strap Shaft Ring

I’ve been a fan of The Chain Gang for a while simply because they are one of the few manufacturers out there that offer a wide variety of cool adornments. They have several designs that are available as a cock ring, shaft ring, and a glans ring - for those that like to have a fully decked out member in matching accoutrements.

The ‘button strap’ design is one such design. It features a scalloped set of ridges along the outer diameter of the ring finished in a highly polished stainless steel. It’s visually interesting because of the various angles that light can hit the adornment and reflect back. If it were faceted, I’d dare call it a blingy ring. Because I have WAY more cock rings than shaft rings and because I’m unlikely to wear a decked out set, I decided to just dip my toe in the water and only purchase a cock ring perfectly sized to be a shaft ring.

The design of the cock ring is excellent and quite comfortable, if not chunky for the purpose of a shaft ring. In fact, I didn’t expect it to be as thick as it is. With the expected inner radius and smoothly contoured outer corners, this design will certainly hold up well as a shaft or cock ring. Coming in at more than 1/2 inch width, it’s a matter of preference if one should purchase this or the glans ring for shaft wear purposes. The glans ring is about 8mm in width according to the Q&A section on the site, which is an excellent width for a shaft ring as well. In any event, I thought about the purchase and size I would like and decided that this wider shaft ring is great for the collection. Should I wish to pair it with the matching cock and glans rings later, I would prefer to have the “chunkier” shaft ring anyway.

This heavy shaft ring weighs in at almost a quarter of a pound and at 1.4" inner diameter and a .315" height from inner to outer diameter, it’s a fairly large adornment to wear on your shaft. Because of the weight and dimensions, unless you “grow” little to none, it will easily slide off if you are not fully erect. i.e. this isn’t the kind of ring for all day wear (even though the design and comfort factor is top notch). This is pretty normal, of course, for shaft rings because of how they are intended to be worn.

All told, this is a delightful shaft ring to add to the collection - and I am fairly certain I’ll eventually just purchase the matching cock and glans rings for it. Once again, The Chain Gang delivers!
