Every now and again I make sure to check in to various sources for adornments, and seldom does Etsy disappoint after filtering through the junk. Recently, I discovered Der Stahlmeister (the steel master) and was quickly drawn to their double ring thanks to the fact that it can be customized and is curved for maximum comfort. Having experimented with a home made saturn ring, I was pretty sure I would like the steel version.
I reached out to see what customization options were available and received an encouraging “whatever you want is possible” reply from Rolf. Of course I had to give it a go with my favorite sizes. I ordered a 47.5mm x 10mm cock ring mated to a 35mm shaft ring. Having been around the block before, I knew these sizes would perfectly fit (and even tested the same with my 3D printer).
The result was almost exactly as I had hoped. The finish on the listing shows a brushed exterior but the received ring was highly polished as can be seen in the picture. This was a welcome diversion from expectations since I personally prefer more shine to my adornments! Interestingly, there was some black “grime” near the joints where the rings came together. I am not certain, but it appeared to be left-over polishing compound. With a little scraping/brushing, it went away easily. The dimensions were also quite accurate with the 47.5 x 10mm ring measuring 47.63 x 9.99mm while the 35 x 8mm ring came out to be 34.04 x 7.93mm. The weight measured at 5.74 oz (163g). Unfortunately, the amount of curve on the cock ring was not as pronounced as the listing indicated - being much more “flat” than desired.
In any event… the double ring ensures rock hard engorgement. I would advise going up a half size on either the shaft OR the cock ring when ordering because you will be doubling up on the outflow restriction. Given that I already knew I would appreciate this ring thanks to testing on my 3D printer, I’m quite pleased to add this Saturn ring to the collection and effectively replace the light plastic experiment with a firm, attractive, and weighty stainless ring!
