Himeros Proteus

This half a pound of gorgeous comes to you from Himeros Jewelery. I discovered Himeros through Etsy and quickly contacted Andrew to say hello (and inquire about some custom options - he can do that, too!). He got back to me quickly and through conversation it is clear that he is passionate about what he’s doing as he builds his business. Based out of Europe, Himeros offers ultra premium cock rings. As far as I know right now, the only manufacturers offering tungsten carbide rings are Scott at King Rings and Andrew at Himeros… so we’re working with prime stock to begin with.

This weighty adornment features a gently curved inner profile and well rounded edges to promote a comfortable experience. Of course, being made of tungsten carbide, this ring is a heavy experience - so sizing is an exercise best left to those with personal sizing knowledge to avoid picking up a ring that slides off. But, those that know, know to pick up a half size down or so. This is especially important for the Proteus because of the premium finish that is practically as smooth as glass. Of course, there are other tricks available in the blog for the curious. That aside, looking very closely at the ring, you’d be hard pressed to find ANY flaw. The execution is exactly what you would expect for jewelry quality adornments. This just isn’t some half-assed cock ring experience - it is an adornment.

From a design perspective, the ring is based on tungsten carbide finger rings available from several foundries in China… but don’t let that deter. The result is simply stunning with the abalone shell inlays flanking a central opal inlay. When set inside the masculinely gray finish of polished tungsten carbide, it just plain works. The shimmer from this ring when the sunlight hits it is going to make you wish every day was nude beach day.

While the cost is a heavy on the wallet, this is the price that is expected given the beautiful results as far as design and comfort goes. You can, as I have, wear this ring all day and night. It should go without saying that since I love comfortable, heavy, and gorgeous rings, the Proteus from Himeros is in my short list of favorites in the collection.
