ManAdorned Knurled Aluminum

Well it’s been a while since I decided to design my own adornment again… and this fine example is quite a wonderful outcome! Given that I have been successful producing geometric designs with various inlays/patterns, a question dawned on me. Why in the world don’t I have a cock ring that has a classic knurled finish to it?!? Now I do! I figured the design would come out well given that several others have been cool, but I’m actually quite surprised by how handsome this one turned out!

This design is identical to the net design I created while back with only a few modifications. Similar to the hex design, this one has a deeper inset field for the knurling. This lower inset really does make the “borders” pop and frame the field with an elegant touch. Unlike the net and hex rings, I chose to make the knurling much smaller. With the knurling coming to a full point (some knurling has a flat top) and the polished finish, this give the adornment a decidedly masculine look and lot of visual interest.

As with prior examples, I went with 1.875 nominal diameter with this one measuring 1.873 - yet another impressive result from RapidDirect. Being aluminum, the weight rings in at a mere 1.32oz. Perhaps I’m overthinking it, but the look of the ring betrays how light it is. I am most used to seeing knurling on weight bars and dumbbells so the ring LOOKS like it should weigh more. Perhaps if it were a much heftier material like tungsten carbide it would match the part. No matter, though. The result is gorgeous and tough at the same time leading to a new favorite in the collection!
