One of the most enjoyable rings in the collection, the Gear Essentials Plunge is an all day and all night ring. The smoothly domed inside creates a level of comfort not seen in most other rings. The thickness of the ring, coming in at about 1/4" and the width of the ring, coming in at .6" really makes sure that tight pinches in your jeans or edges digging in while fully erect just doesnt happen.
The supple silicone and royal color of this ring makes it a natural to add to any collection. Since I’m not a big fan of tight rings stretched over the whole package for everyday wear, I enjoy wearing this ring around the balls only.
As a hobbyist maker and builder, I’m always looking to repurpose or make my iwn custom rings from whatever is available. In this case, a neat looking bracelet from ebay served as the base of the design. The trick was measuring carefully to establish the right circumference for the perfect fit. Once figured up, all it took was cutting the bracelet at the end, drilling the inside of the receiving piece of metal to give a clean place for glue to adhere, and using strong glue (gorilla glue) to secure the shortened bracelet. Voila - a custom ring perfectly sized to fit!
